Last year one of my coaching clients caught me out. There I was listening intently to what she was saying only for her to pick me up on something I had said. We were talking about what we did for a living and apparently I said "When I left work 3 years ago......" She stopped me and said "So what do you do now, if you left work 3 years ago?" Mmmm... Busted.

The best way to explain what I do now I suppose, is encourage people to be more flexible in how they think and feel about themselves and make the most out of their business and personal lives.

I spent 11 years in the corporate world and have a good understanding of what makes individuals, teams and organisations tick and what they face in delivering what they need to.

I love to facilitate and my no 1 passion is Will Schutz's "The Human Element" work which you can find out more about elsewhere on this site. I tend to lend together different approaches to human development from FIRO® theory to NLP either coaching or training. People describe my style as "calm" - Will Schutz once said that some things in life are far too serious to be taken seriously - a statement I like to adhere to in my facilitation.

On a personal level, I take a fairly holistic approach to life. I have a early morning ashtanga yoga habit 6 days a week and take a great interest in nutrition (this includes occasionally steering Daryll away from establishments that sell food in "buckets"). I share my time between working and travelling which takes me away for the odd month during the year (thanks Swen!)

So to conclude...someone far cleverer than me (and Daryll) once said "Know thyself". This can be scary at times. I work on the basis that self awareness and doing something with it, is the key to a happy life at work and play and everyone deserves a crack at that.
